Description
The problems of economic development of South-East Asian countries. Topics include agricultural development and impact of the agrarian reforms, problems of industrialisation, the role of the state in economic development, labour, foreign trade and investment and sustainability. The course also deals with the reasons for the emergence of the Asian financial crisis in 1997 and its consequences.
