A number of general Macquarie University scholarships are available.
Unit specific scholarships are also available to students enrolled in the Division of Economic and Financial Studies.Honours Scholarships – Economics

Tress Cocks and Maddox Scholarship in Law
This scholarship is available to full-time students enrolled in the BA LLB, BA-Psy LLB, BSc-Psy LLB, BAppFin LLB, BBA LLB, BCom LLB, BCom-Accg LLG, BCom-ActStud LLB, BCom-Mktg LLB, BEc LLB, BMedia LLB, BsocSc LLB, or BSc LLB, BEnvMgt LLB, BEnvSc LLB degree programs. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit, financial need and the personal circumstances of the applicant. Candidates for the scholarship must be permanent residents of Australia. The scholarship is valued at $2,000 and will normally be tenable for one year only.

The Alf and Pearl Pollard Memorial Prize
Awarded to the most outstanding student in the fourth year of undergraduate study at the Division of Economic and Financial Studies.
The Australia-Japan Society Prize
Open to all students proceeding to the degree of Bachelor.
Awarded for proficiency in 300-level Japanese as well as a significant contribution to the study of Japan, and to future Japan-Australia relations.
The Australian Finance Conference Prize for Money and Finance
Open to all students proceeding to the degree of Bachelor.
Awarded for proficiency in the unit ECON350 Money and Finance.
The Australian Financial Review Prize for Applied Finance
Open to all students proceeding to the degree of Bachelor.
Awarded for proficiency in the unit FIN310 Issues in Applied Finance.
The Commonwealth Bank Prize for International Finance
Open to all students proceeding to the degree of Bachelor.
Awarded for proficiency in the unit ECON360 International Finance.
The Econometrics Prize
Open to all students proceeding to the degree of Bachelor.
Awarded to the student with the highest average mark in second and third year econometrics units.
The Jim Jones Memorial Prize
Open to all students proceeding to the degree of Bachelor.
Awarded for proficiency in the unit ECON200 Microeconomic Analysis.
The Peter Hains Memorial Prize for Economics
Open to all students proceeding to the degree of Bachelor.
Awarded for proficiency in the units ECON200 Microeconomic Analysis and ECON201 Macroeconomic Analysis.
The UFJ Bank Limited Prize for 300-Level Japanese Economic Studies
